Dance Without Music (2005)

In 1995, select Beijing high schools began accepting students from impoverished backgrounds, offering them free tuition to help them stay in school. These students were called "Students with Aspirations." Facing immense hardship, these children are deeply inspiring through their remarkable work ethic, dedication, and dignity. They bravely confront their circumstances and find joy, even in the absence of celebration.
