Description:
Set in the same Hinamizawa village as before, *Higurashi Outbreak* finds the town quarantined in 1983 due to a mysterious virus. Keiichi Maebara and Rena Ryūgū confront the outbreak, unsure if it's the result of Oyashiro-sama's curse or something more sinister. There are hints that Rika might be infected. While details remain scarce, the creators have stated the OVA's ending will diverge from the original narrative.
