Sacred Ritual of Truth (2002)

Solito returns to his Palawan Island hometown to document the sacred rituals and everyday lives of its people. The film shows the increasing destruction of their traditional way of life caused by foreign corporations and other pressures, and the resulting resentment. The sounds of percussion and rhythm in the images blend together, immersing the viewer in the unique world presented.
