Description:
In 2010, filming "Three Sisters" in Yunnan province, Wang Bing encountered two teenagers, Yonggao and Yongjin, whose stonemason father had left for the city to find work. He reconnected with them in 2014, after they had been reunited with their father in Fumin following four years apart. For roughly a month, Wang Bing documented their daily lives in the cramped, impoverished room they shared as a home. A stationary camera captured the small moments of their days: their father's departures for work, the boys waking up, eating breakfast while watching television, and so on.
