Description:
Amidst a time of great change, a traveling entertainer raises a group of four children, including his daughter Mu-Lin. Fifteen years later, he plans to retire and has arranged her marriage. However, a familiar face appears and murders him. Mu-Lin is taken to an opulent brothel where the most beautiful courtesan, Yeh Hong, shows her particular attention. Kim, one of Yeh Hong's lovers and an assassin, also forms a connection with Mu-Lin. It appears that Kim and Yeh Hong may be aligned with the emperor's powerful eunuch, all driven by ambition. The circumstances feel increasingly connected: does Mu-Lin share a past with these individuals, and if so, what is it?
