Description:
A true story. A woman studying the Bible writes to a couple who are imprisoned after a body is discovered in their apartment, hidden in a trunk with acid. After visiting the wife and then the husband, Cecilia Yip develops feelings for the husband, Francis Ng, and becomes convinced of his innocence. She secretly organizes a legal defense for him, with assistance from the Catholic Church, hoping to secure his acquittal. Meanwhile, a determined detective, Anthony Wong, tries to persuade her that he is guilty. He orchestrates a prison divorce and wedding. When Cecilia discovers the devastating truth, how will she cope?
