Description:
Messina, a woman ostracized for her failed fortune-telling, returns to her hometown to rescue her daughter Claire from a dangerous organization that wants to use her gift. Upon her arrival, Messina discovers Claire is deeply in debt and entangled with a small-time syndicate exploiting fortune tellers to prey on vulnerable people seeking answers. For years, the town has been cultivating a single gifted fortune teller, much like they once celebrated Dorothea as their leader. Dorothea, Claire's grandmother, appears to her in dreams. A fellow fortune teller named Rachel reveals that Messina's only chance to save Claire is to accept the power she's tried to abandon – the ability to see the future, no matter how dark.
