Description:
Nicole Wagner discovers a chance truth: her son may not be the child she had with Grille, a scaffolder. Nine years prior, an infant named Sebastian was mistakenly given to Nicole and Grille, while he actually belonged to academics Sven and Britta Callenberg, who live a very different life in Freiburg. Grille is curious about the unknown son, but Nicole is deeply distressed, as are Sven and Britta. However, they grapple with the dilemma of disrupting the children's lives, as they are loved and settled in their families. Ultimately, the parents decide to leave things as they are, though their thoughts about their biological son linger.
