Pilgrim Lovers (2011)

"Gayuma" is a love story that transcends social class, religious beliefs, and rural versus urban divides. When a poor sacristan named Delfin's attempt to exorcise a statue of the Child Jesus fails, he creates a love potion to win over Carla, a wealthy woman. After she drinks it and reciprocates his feelings, Delfin is overjoyed, but soon becomes consumed by paranoia and a deep sleep from which doctors cannot awaken him. Carla undertakes a pilgrimage to a mountain's heart to reverse the potion's effects. A possessed Child Jesus statue stands between them. Will their faith unite them, or drive them further apart?
