Description:
N tells the story of Raymond Borremans, a Frenchman who moved to Africa in the mid-20th century. He dedicated his life to creating the first encyclopedia of the continent, driven by a desire for lasting fame. He died before completing it, only reaching the letter N. Now, with his work unfinished, his spirit wanders West Africa, existing between life and death, past and present. The film follows his attempts to finish what he started from beyond the grave. N is a visually and musically compelling film, a rich and layered experience. It explores the clash between Western thought and African spirituality, blurring the lines between dream and reality.
