Description:
Boubacar, a young peasant with a cornfield, dreams of escaping poverty and starts a new venture. He sells his land to buy a used Peugeot 504 from a European couple, hoping to become a bush taxi driver. However, his dream quickly stalls when the car's engine fails, leaving him broke. His wife is forced into prostitution to support the family. But Boubacar, resourceful and philosophical, salvages the 504's engine and uses it as a barbecue to sell grilled corn on the streets, reigniting his hopes for a better life.
