Description:
Miskei, the charismatic president of a cooperative, falls for Mari, the wife of the older Pató. Mari is unhappy with the coldness of her husband and desires affection and a family. Miskei's feelings deepen as he witnesses Pató's harsh treatment of her. During a summer storm, they meet in an abandoned press house, and Miskei confesses his love. Mari rejects him. He persists, expressing his admiration with gentle words. Soon after, Mari leaves her husband and journeys to the city to pursue education and a fresh start.
