Description:
Kim lives with his father, sells marijuana to skateboarders, writes poetry, and uses painkillers daily. While wandering as his alter ego, Shadow Zombie, through a suburban neighborhood, he meets Brandi, a registered nurse and part-time clown. They begin a short romance complicated by the harsh realities of Kim's difficult life and Brandi's painful past. Filmed in and around Lafayette, Louisiana, the movie features a cast of authentic Acadiana characters. Director Jorge Torres-Torres offers a raw and sometimes surprisingly moving look at the humanity of a drug addict and a clown struggling with depression.
