Description:
When the railway is shut down and people lose their jobs, Kurt Grantke takes matters into his own hands by sabotaging the Commercial Railway to protect his town. Although there are no injuries or proof of his actions, the line to Storchenroda is closed. Arrested by Commissar Stahl, Kurt is released by his friends and then leaves for South America with his new wife and other railway workers who are emigrating.
