Description:
The story begins with a legend describing Krishnavati, a brave Indian girl who gave up privilege for her people. The opening shows Krishnavati and her baby son being cast out into a storm by the villainous Prime Minister Ranamal, who also murdered her brother. Twenty years later, Krishnavati's adult son, Jaswant, is injured by a royal car and receives compensation in gold, which he refuses, earning the admiration of Princess Madhuri. When Ranamal imprisons her father, Madhuri becomes the masked Hunterwali, a protector of the poor who performs daring stunts like jumping over carts and fighting many soldiers. She steals Jaswant's horse, Punjab, but returns it. Jaswant discovers Hunterwali bathing in the river, captures her in a duel, and takes her to Ranamal to claim his reward.
