Description:
Florian Svíčička, a country tailor with a passion for medieval history, prioritizes historical reenactment over his tailoring business. He enthusiastically takes the place of the bailiff in an amateur performance at Zdislavice Castle, playing the role of a knight. The performance is a disaster, leading to his banishment. Returning home, Florian witnesses a disturbing scene in the forest: two knights beheading a young girl. He later discovers it was a film shoot, and the girl, Hana – a stand-in for the famous actress Elvíra – spent the night with him after being accidentally left at the castle. His employer, fed up with Florian's antics, fires him. Florian travels to Prague to find Hana, unaware of her name, and mistakenly arrives at Elvíra’s villa. Finding a letter he believes is for him, he returns to the villa only to be cruelly dismissed by Elvíra.
