Description:
Miriam and Dave Lapp are a picturesque young couple with a large family, living a traditional life as members of the Old Order Amish in Pennsylvania. Dave works in the construction business, which his family owns, but their church forbids all technology. By agreeing to be filmed, the Lapps risk disapproval from their community leaders. They share their traditional lifestyle with the camera and convince friends to join them, revealing that the young Amish believe their decision to be rebaptized for a more open faith has created a desire for change within their community. The film concludes with the family working towards their goal of owning their own farm.
