Description:

Bill Lee, a man who kills bugs for a living, lives a detached life with his wife Joan, often using his pest poisons for recreational drug use with his Beat poet friends. His world changes when he encounters the enigmatic Dr. Benway, who gives him a drug made from a centipede. After taking it, Bill accidentally kills Joan and finds himself under the control of his typewriter, which has transformed into a cockroach. He's transported to a constantly shifting Mediterranean city and discovers his friends have published his writing – work he doesn't recall creating.
