Savage Religions (2006)

Thirty artists from eleven countries have collaborated on a visually disturbing project inspired by devotion pictures from the La Major cathedral in Marseille. The resulting work blends diverse styles in an almost Art Brut aesthetic, featuring unsettling, blasphemous, and obscene imagery that highlights the often chaotic nature of animation. This project is consistent with the output of Le Dernier Cri, an artists' collective founded in Marseille in 1993.
