Description:
Abdullah, an Arab boy, deeply loves his donkey, Bim. However, Massoud, a prince, is jealous of their bond and repeatedly steals Bim, playing cruel pranks like painting him and attempting to mutilate him. When Abdullah tries to recover Bim, he's imprisoned by palace guards. Ashamed of his actions after witnessing Abdullah’s devotion, Massoud releases them both. But Bim then eats the prince's father's lunch and is sold to a butcher. Abdullah and Massoud attempt a rescue, but robbers intercept them, stealing Bim and the butcher’s goods. The robbers flee to the sea, prompting Abdullah and Massoud to rally their friends for a final attempt to save Bim.
