Description:
Fifteen-year-old Georgiana Halmac faces a difficult winter when her mother moves to Torino in search of work, leaving her to care for her five younger siblings in a social housing complex outside Bacau, Romania. Balancing the challenges of adolescence with adult responsibilities, Georgiana relies on television parenting tips and occasional calls from her mother. While navigating her own teenage life and high school, she also has to contend with critical neighbors who threaten to involve social services. With remarkable composure, Georgiana manages to keep the family afloat through a delicate and resourceful equilibrium.
