Description:
Pop singer Eve Porter tries to take a break during her summer off, but her manager and publicists have already scheduled more work. She refuses and heads to Las Vegas, where they try to find her. She escapes by hiding in a reporter's car. While he drives, her words are misunderstood, leading him to believe she's a fugitive known as "The Singing Widow." He sees this as a chance to boost his career with a big story. Through a series of funny events, he discovers the truth about Eve. He decides to take her back to Hollywood to claim a reward, but their growing feelings for each other complicate things, especially with her upcoming engagement.
