Description:
The Turkish Sultan launches a war against the Byzantine remnants of the Roman Empire. His advisory council approves, except for one elderly advisor who secretly allies with the Byzantines. The Byzantines kidnap the Turkish army leader's fiancée. The Sultan tasks the army leader and two others with espionage in Byzantium. There, they connect with sympathetic locals and use their home as a base to gather intelligence on the city's defenses. The Byzantines capture the couple and two of the Turks, but the army leader escapes with crucial information. Using this intelligence, the Turks swiftly conquer Byzantium, bringing an end to the Roman Empire and establishing the Ottoman Empire.
