Cotton Flowers (2004)

Brit, Sophie, Todd, and Andy, an unlikely quartet, are forced to collaborate on an economics project assigned by their teacher, Miss Rose. Each student is convinced of their own superiority. They soon encounter serious repercussions that their parents remain unaware of. Sophie struggles with rumors about her reputation while grappling with her own experiences. Todd, believing himself untouchable, attempts a mugging with disastrous consequences. Andy confronts his sexuality after being locked out by his parents. And Brit discovers the difficulty of concealing a drug habit when she's the most popular girl in school.
