Description:
Formerly known as Evelyn Frank, Eva Bernhardt was a notorious brothel owner in Berlin. She entered witness protection after agreeing to testify against her husband and his business partner, adopting a new identity and starting a new life in the Bavarian mountains. She quickly integrates into her new community, making friends easily. However, the witness protection officers assigned to her, Ines Meder and Holger Nolting, observe Eva with suspicion. Ines is particularly doubtful when Eva is presented as her daughter, and becomes convinced that Eva is deceiving them when she skillfully manipulates a restaurant manager.
