Description:
This three-part anthology film follows three separate stories. In Amsterdam, Jovke and his friends seek a quick profit before military service, while also trying to connect with his unresponsive father and the girl he's interested in. In Tie Required, Neša works at the docks with his close friends, hoping for a job at the bar where his mother works. After being excluded from a birthday party, they decide to find their own entertainment. Absolute Pitch centers on an unemployed paleontologist who secretly sews dresses for someone he loves. When she leaves for work in the countryside and stops communicating, he grows suspicious and sets out to discover why. The film received a Student Academy Award nomination in 1991.
