Description:
Hong Kong, 2012: Fifteen years after becoming part of the People's Republic, the former British colony celebrates an anniversary by unveiling the Haiman Collection, a stunning display of art. Victoria Philips, a Berlin art expert, is chosen to curate the exhibition. The night after she arrives, all the artwork is stolen. Victoria must find convincing replacements, but faces resistance from Chinese collectors who are wary of her as a European woman. Unexpectedly, she receives help from Edward Lim, a charismatic nightclub owner who is romantically interested in her. As Inspector Braddock suspects Edward's involvement in the theft, Victoria is torn between her professional obligations and her growing feelings.
