Description:
Ryukichi, the privileged son of a cosmetics wholesaler, leaves his wife and child for an affair with the renowned geisha, Choko. His father disowns him for this betrayal, leaving Ryukichi without a means to support himself. To provide for them both, Choko continues her work as a geisha while secretly saving money to start a business of their own. But Ryukichi remains consumed by pleasure, eventually wasting Choko’s savings on his own indulgences.
