Description:
Veteran diver Wang Chun is hired to retrieve gold bars from a ship sunk during the Japanese retreat from Hong Kong. After finding the treasure, Wang is confronted by Arakawa, a former Japanese soldier, and his men who arrive in a speedboat. Arakawa kills Wang's employer, takes the gold, and forces Wang to pilot the boat to safety. A fight breaks out, and the speedboat sinks after hitting a reef. Wang escapes with the gold. He later marries Yen-yen and they establish a life in South Korea, where Wang owns a large ranch and they have a daughter, Shan-shan. Seven years later, Arakawa returns, taking Yen-yen and Shan-shan hostage and demanding the gold.
