Description:
Before achieving fame as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings," Andy Lau starred in the 1989 crime film *Runaway Blues*. He plays Lam, a Taiwanese gangster who escapes to Hong Kong after killing a rival. Seeking refuge with his uncle, a gang boss named Lip, Lam finds himself caught in escalating gang warfare and is pressured into becoming an informant for the police. He then flees to Guangzhou and Macau with Lip's mistress, sparking a furious pursuit by the enraged Lip.
