"Fight Time" follows Dingding, a woman, and cattle Dingding, a man, who come to Shenzhen seeking work during a difficult hiring season. They both end up in the demanding world of product experience staff. Dingding is dealing with heartbreak – a recent breakup and a child abandoned by her boyfriend – while cattle Dingding's father decides to take on more responsibility and remarry. Despite the harsh realities of their lives, they cling to the dream of building a family, working tirelessly even resorting to unconventional jobs like pole dancing and carrying their son to work. In this city, many people struggle under the weight of hard labor, and "Fight Time" is about their fight for survival.
