Description:
Director Bahman Farmanara's second film, following a two-decade absence from Iran, explores the spiritual crisis of a middle-aged man. The film opens with Dr. Reza Sepidbakht (Reza Kianian), a successful Tehran gynecologist, experiencing a dreamlike moment where he believes he has run over an angel while driving home with a prostitute. The following day at the hospital, he encounters a comatose boy renowned for memorizing the entire Koran. These events prompt Dr. Sepidbakht to question his cynical perspective on life and his relationships with his father, his estranged son, and the women he has hurt since separating from his wife. When the boy awakens, Dr. Sepidbakht seeks answers from him.
