Description:
In Trieste, Italy, Todor, a Serbian smuggler, makes a living transporting counterfeit cigarettes by boat, relying on foggy conditions to conceal his illegal activities. He’s persuaded to transport a much larger shipment and discovers a wounded, drugged woman hidden within. Instead of delivering the cargo, Todor takes her home. He delivers the original freight, but his decision has significant consequences. He cares for the woman, and she gradually overcomes her fear of him. As he secures a passport for her, an unspoken bond forms between them, and he asks her to join him. However, fate intervenes.
