Erhfutzu, desperate for funds to care for his sick mother, receives assistance from Miss Yun and her company, who then depart. Shortly after, he discovers his mother has been murdered. Years later, Erhfutzu (Steve Chan) is a skilled swordsman known as Scabbed Tiger, driven by a desire to avenge her death. He seeks a specific jade, locates the owner, and executes his plan. He encounters Miss Yun's servant and daughter, who are mourning the loss of her father – a victim of Erhfutzu's actions. Realizing his error, he attempts to rectify the situation by pursuing the true culprit, for his own sake and for the daughter's. He keeps the truth of his involvement hidden.
