Forgotten Street (1999)

This film adapts the acclaimed novel by Flemish author Louis Paul Boon. The celebrated writer finds himself living in a cul-de-sac facing demolition. He watches his neighbors grapple with this threat, witnessing how it fosters selfishness, isolation, and acceptance of defeat. In response, the writer imagines a new street, existing apart from the encroaching changes.
