Description:
"Ang.: Lone" is a social realist film about a rebellious 16-year-old girl named Lone. Troubled and emotionally confused, Lone runs away from a girls' home in Jutland to her foster parents' house, where she quickly experiences conflict. She then travels to Copenhagen, immersing herself in lower and middle-class communities and the hippie underground. However, Lone's aggressive behavior leads to conflicts with almost everyone she meets, so she keeps running. During her time in Copenhagen, she finds a boyfriend and becomes pregnant. After a couple of months, she is found and placed in a mothers' home, from which she eventually escapes to have an illegal abortion.
