Description:
Archaeology Professor and antique collector Laphin travels deep into the Cambodian jungle with two guides to explore an ancient palace. They encounter a disturbed man who flees, leaving behind a small wooden monkey statue, which they take. Continuing their journey, they discover a village where the inhabitants have been brutally murdered, seemingly by an animal. Later, they meet a starving man who warns them that the statue is of Kong Koy, a legendary monkey monster, and must be covered with a holy cloth to prevent evil. He provides the cloth and departs. Back home, the statue is stolen by Laphin's student, Joe, who removes the cloth, unleashing the monkey monster during a graduation party.
