Description:
Cologne journalist Michael Heinrich gets his dream assignment as Italy correspondent for a year. His lawyer wife, Susanne, joins him for her sabbatical, but their stay is complicated by janitor Filippo and his cousin Toni's unfinished work on Principe Ercole's palazzo. Their angelic son Tobias and teenage daughter Caroline are unhappy about leaving their life behind, though they eventually warm to Rome. Roman bureaucracy and the lively niece of Ercole, Maria, along with Susanne’s parents, challenge Michael’s patience. Meanwhile, controversial archaeology professor Neri offers Michael a potentially groundbreaking story about a missing Etruscan sanctuary. By KGF Vissers.
