Description:
In 1889, torrential rains and inadequate upkeep caused the South Fork Dam to collapse. The resulting flood, a massive wall of water and debris, devastated the town of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, located fourteen miles downstream. Over 2000 people perished in the tragedy. This film recounts the events, revealing that the disaster was preventable.
