Getaran (2001)

Awie, a mechanic with his own workshop in a remote area, is captivated by a group of teenagers performing as a band. Impressed, he promises to make them recording stars. He also falls for Mona, who admires his strong principles, and they share a vision to help the young musicians achieve fame. However, their dreams are shattered when Zamri and Sam, Awie's rivals, attack him, causing him to lose his memory. Without Awie's guidance, the band loses their hope.
