Description:
Noa, a well-known Israeli singer of Yemenite heritage, is preparing for a concert in Jerusalem when she meets an elderly Arab man. He shares the story of Mazal, a Jewish girl from Yemen who became a child bride. From the late 19th century through the mid-20th century, Mazal maintains her faith, culture, and artistic traditions while enduring difficult times in Jerusalem and the Holy Land. She raises two children, becomes a widow, and supports her family as a skilled jeweler. Eventually, she becomes a respected woman and a strong patriot, navigating decades of conflict while living in the Old City. Mazal leads an extraordinary family, growing into a determined woman who remains devoted to her traditions and beliefs.
