Description:
The film explores the difficulties of aging through Mrs. Potter's perspective as her husband struggles with listlessness and unhappiness after being forced to retire at 65. Concerned by his disengagement, she recognizes it's impacting his well-being. Following his death, she leaves their home to live with her daughter's family, encountering new challenges there. Reflecting on these life transitions, she seeks to maintain a fulfilling life but faces setbacks when a job application is rejected due to ageism. Disagreements with her daughter about raising grandchildren further complicate matters. Ultimately, both mother and daughter realize they need to prioritize respect and appreciation for one another.
