Description:
In the city of Badgag, Popeye and Olive witness Bluto performing magic. He hypnotizes Olive and introduces himself as the Great Bourgeois, gifting her a lavish dress while transforming Popeye into a donkey. Bluto then sits on a bed of nails, which Popeye unexpectedly turns into springs. A snake-charming contest follows, where Popeye counters Bluto's performance with a hornpipe on his pipe. Bluto next turns Popeye into a parrot and locks Olive in a basket, attempting a sword trick. Olive escapes and revives the parrot-Popeye with spinach. Bluto flees using a rope trick and a flying carpet, but Popeye uses his pipe as a rocket to take flight. A final battle ensues, with Popeye using Bluto's own magic to transform him into a canary. Popeye and Olive then fly home on the carpet, passing the Statue of Liberty.
