Description:
Sylvester is determined to catch a woodpecker nesting high in a tree. He climbs after it, but the bird greases the tree. He tries cutting the tree down, but a dog repeatedly stops him. He attempts several other methods, including reaching into the bird's nest, where the bird places a tomato. Sylvester squishes the tomato, and the bird dresses as an angel to bother him, though Sylvester sees through the disguise. Finally, Sylvester tries to blow up the tree, again thwarted by the dog. He manages to disarm the dynamite, but the bird relights the fuses, and Sylvester transforms into an angel.
