Description:
This film follows Phil Harris through a series of comedic musical performances and sketches. It begins with Dorothy hearing Harris on the radio while he plays at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub, a fact that irritates her husband Walter. Later, at a country club, Walter unknowingly encounters Harris and, annoyed by the music, pretends to be him in order to meet a woman. Meanwhile, Harris entertains the woman’s friend, Dorothy. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in partnership with the Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division, in 2012.
