Description:
A successful artist fondly remembers the summer of 1974, a pivotal year in his life. As a gifted but troubled 18-year-old, he befriends an elderly, alcoholic painter who has withdrawn from art and life itself. Their initial connection feels fragile, yet the young man is eager to learn the secrets held within the master's mind and heart. The older painter has grown disillusioned with life, finding it meaningless, until the youth reignites his passion for his work and ultimately gives him a reason to live. In return, they both gain something invaluable: the young artist learns to perceive the world as the master does, and the master rediscovers life through the eyes of innocence. This story is inspired by a true event.
