Description:
On an autumn day in Oslo, child psychologist Ivar visits Maria at the Botanical Garden. Maria is the mother of Tilla, a young girl Ivar had previously observed. A treatment plan was in place, but Maria hasn't brought Tilla. Ivar finds Maria sleeping under a tree and later, working nervously at a microscope in the lab. Maria is increasingly anxious and unstable; Tilla hasn’t spoken in a year and a half, and Maria is becoming withdrawn. Ivar convinces Maria to bring Tilla to a pediatric psychiatric clinic for treatment, where they meet Mimi Backer. However, Mimi struggles to get Maria to share her experiences with Tilla. In the clinic's observation room, a subtle clue begins to emerge, hinting at the mystery.
