Description:
Jawdat, a young Israeli Arab, dreams of simple pleasures: hanging out with friends, talking on his phone, and finding a girlfriend. He struggles with dates, trying to connect with girls from different backgrounds – Muslim, Christian, and Jewish – all while studying for a crucial Hebrew exam that could lead him to university and a new life away from his village. His plans are disrupted when his father, Salem, an olive farmer, asks him to join his campaign against a new antenna erected by the Israeli telephone company in a nearby field. Salem believes the antenna is harming the villagers with radiation.
