Description:
Private Detective Mike Hayes (Guy Doleman) is handling a divorce case when he uncovers a web of secrets and a dead body. His investigation pulls him into the lives of two families in Sydney's suburbs. Beneath their ordinary appearances, one of them hides a killer. Hayes encounters David Prentice (David Franklin), an unsettling teenager with a scrapbook of violent crimes, and Val Meadows (Diane McLean), a woman who believes she's being targeted for murder. As the investigation unfolds, the case becomes increasingly complicated. It seems the only people with a motive to kill Val are her own family – perhaps her estranged sons, her lover, or even her closest friend.
