Description:
In the Grand Duchy of Wallenstein, Elsa Holbein, the beautiful daughter of General Julius, the Chief of the General Staff, is forced to flee her home after her father is accused of treason following a spy's theft of military documents, leading to his suicide. Homeless and alone, she begins a life on the streets, eventually finding success as a performer under the name Diana Cadouleur on the Riviera. There, she falls in love with an elegant young man. However, during a tour on Lake Lucarno, she encounters the spy, Sthar, who, having been rejected by a woman named Elena, begins spreading rumors about Prince Massimiliano's conduct.
